Paris Saint-Germain suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to lowly Dijon on Friday.
Kyrian Mbappe scored his seventh goal of the season 19 minutes into the game. Mounir Chouiar levelled the game for Dijon. And then Jhonder Cadiz completed the victory for the lowly club two minutes into the second half.
Dijon who had struggled in the relegation zone last season have now climbed to 18th place in this season’s Ligue 1.
Meanwhile PSG won six straight games and scored 17 goals in their last four, lost just five games and still won the league last season.
So far, the French giants have been beaten three times in the opening 12 game this season.
This loss to Dijon means PSG’s closest rivals, Nantes will have the chance to close the gap in the upcoming game against Bordeaux on Sunday.
