Manchester City’s Kyle Walker scored a late winner for Guardiola’s side against Southampton on Saturday at Etihad Stadium.

Southampton got a surprising lead when James Ward-Prowse took advantage of City’s Enderson mistake and scored for the Saints.

But City’s Aguero equalized 20 minutes to the end of the match. Then Walker’s volley into the Saints’s net sealed the victory for Man City.

Recall that Leicester City made history by hammering Southampton humiliating 9-0 just six days ago. But the Saints came back with renewed determination in Saturday’s match against Manchester City.

Although they lost, they certainly didn’t make it easy for City, a testament that Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side should never be taken for granted.

Next, Manchester City will head for Italy to face Atalanta on Wednesday Champions League Group C match.

Then, they will come back to face Premier League arch rival, Liverpool on Sunday at Anfield.

Southampton will also play against Everton at home on Saturday.
