Roberto Firmino scored a late goal for Liverpool to continue their unbeaten run in Premier League as they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday.

The Reds weren’t in their best form as Crystal Palace put up a very impressive attack especially in the first half.

James Tomkins scored the first goal for Crystal Palace just before the end of first half but it was disallowed by VAR. Video replays showed Ayew pushed down Dejan Lovren.

Mohamed Salah was left on bench to recover from injury. Sadio Mané took his place at the right side and eventually scored the leading goal at the 49th minute.

However, Palace’ Wilfried Zaha scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute. But Roberto Firmino netted the second goal for Liverpool at the 85th minute.

The Reds now have 37 points after 12 wins from their opening 13 matches.

Meanwhile, Leicester City defeated Brighton with two goals from Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy.

Liverpool and Leicester City remain first and second respectively in the Premier League.
