John Fleck scored the lead for Sheffield and Lys Mousset doubled the lead in the second half.
But Man Utd made a surprise comeback with two goals from Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood within five minutes.
Then Marcus Rashford scored the third goal for the visitors to take the lead.
Unfortunately for the Red Devils, Oli McBurnie equalized with a controversial goal at injury time. After a lengthy check with VAR, the goal was awarded in favor of Sheffield United.
Thus the hosts ended the match with a point.
