Barcelona striker, Ousmane Dembele, has been ruled out for more than two months for his third muscle injury of this season.

Dembele was carried off the field during Barcelona match against Dortmund on Wednesday that ended in 3-1 win for the Catalan side.

Barcelona released a statement announcing that the Frenchman had injured his right hamstring and would not be in action for 10 weeks.

Dembele was signed to Barcelona for 105 million euros (£89.5million) from Dortmund in 2017. But his hamstring injury kept him from making his debut for the season as he needed surgery which kept him out for five months.

The 22 year old will also miss Barça’s ‘El Classico’ match against Real Madrid as well as revamped Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia in January.
