Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winning goal for Leicester to beat Everton 2-1 from behind in Premier League game on Sunday at the King Power Stadium.
Everton’s Richarlison scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute but Jamie Vardy scored the equalizing goal in the 68th minute.
Then substitute Iheanacho scored the winning goal at stoppage time.
The goal was initially declared an offside by the linesman but after VAR check, it was awarded bringing victory to Leicester and increasing more pressure on Everton’s manager, Marco Silva.
The last time Silva lost at King Power Stadium in 2018, he was sacked. Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Leicester City has put the Portuguese into a very difficult situation where he is clinging to his job by his fingernails.
Meanwhile, secured a sixth Premier League win and are currently second behind Liverpool with 32 points.
