Italian Serie A match between Juventus and Sassuolo on Sunday ended in a 2-2 draw despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s score.

Leonardo Bonucci scored the opening goal for his home side Juventus after 20 minutes. But Sassuolo equalised through Jeremie Boga’s strike two minutes later.

Then Francesco Caputo scored the second goal for the visiting Sassuolo to take the lead in the second half.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s accurate penalty shot saved Juventus from witnessing their first home defeat this season as the match ended in a 2-2 draw instead.

Juventus have remained unbeaten in six matches in all competitions this season.

Next, Juve will visit Lazio Roma on Saturday while Sassuolo will host Perugia in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia.
