Liverpool have finally advanced to the last season after beating Red Bull Salzburg 2-0 in this season’s Champions League group match on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker proved to be a Savior for the Reds as he made multiple saves to stop Salzburg from taking the lead.

The first half ended with a goalless draw as both sides couldn’t score.

Liverpool finally got a break when Naby Keita’s header found Salzburg’s net in the 57th minute and Mohamed Salah slotted in a stunning goal a minute later, finishing his most difficult chance of the night to send the Reds to the knockout stage.

Liverpool is now top of Group E despite Napoli beating Genk 4-0 same night.

Next, Liverpool will go back to Premier League on Saturday to play against bottom side Watford. Red Bull Salzburg will return to Austrian Bundesliga to face Hartberg same day.
