Gabriel Jesus netted a hat-trick as Manchester City ended their UEFA Champions League group stage campaign with a 4-1 win against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday.
City manager Pep Guardiola rested a lot of his key players since their presence were not urgently needed having already qualified for the last 16 before Wednesday’s match.
But Zagreb’s Dani Olmo gave his side a shock lead against the visitors. But City bounced back as Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick and Phil Foden added a fourth late in the second half.
City is top of Champions League Group C. Atalanta is second and also qualified having beaten Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 same time.
