Premier League Champions, Manchester City beat Oxford United 3-1 to reach Carabao Cup semi finals on Wednesday.

Joao Cancelo scored the opening goal for Man City in the 22nd minute after dribbling past Oxford’s players.

Matt Taylor equalised for Oxford United in the early second half to make it 1-1.

Raheem Sterling reclaimed the lead for City after scoring from Angelino’s pass in the 50th minute. Then he scored again after Gabriel Jesus laid the pass, 20 minutes to the end of the match.

City have now advanced to the semi finals and will host Leicester City in Premier League match on Saturday while Oxford United will welcome Wycombe Wanderers on the same day.
