Arsenal is set to announce Mikel Arteta as new Gunners head coach on Friday.
Arteta has already said goodbye to Manchester City since Thursday morning, though they are reportedly unhappy with the way his imminent movement to Arsenal was conducted.
Payments for his services will be completed before the announcement is made.
Meanwhile, interim boss, Freddie Ljungberg will still oversee the team’s match against Everton on Saturday while Arteta observes from the stands.
Thursday’s pre match conference was cancelled and Gunners team are yet to comment on what they think of the incoming coach who was present as his former side, Manchester City beat them 3-0 on Sunday at Emirates Stadium.
