Nigerian striker, Bryan Fiabema, is set to join fellow players of Nigerian descent, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori, in Chelsea.

According to allnigeriasoccer.com, The 16-year- old was the youngest player of Nigerian descent to debut in the Norwegian Tippeligaen when he made his league debut for Tromso against  FK Haugesund on July 14, 2019 beating the previous record held by ex-Lillestrom striker Ohi Omoijuanfo (16 years, 9 months and 28 days).

Tromso have accepted a six million NOK bid (approximately 600,000 euros) from Chelsea for Fiabema who is regarded as one of the most exciting players in Tippeligaen.

But reports also suggest that the youngster is yet to officially sign the contract.

Fiabema’s agent, Imad El Hammichi revealed that Chelsea have been monitoring Fiabema before he traveled to London last week to undergo trials at Stamford Bridge.

Fiabema has been compared to Tammy Abraham who is Chelsea’s leading scorer this season with 13 goals in 24 games.
