Romelu Lukaku started 2020 in top form as he scored twice for Inter Milan to beat Napoli 3-1 in Serie A on Monday.

Lukaku scored the opening goal after dribbling two Napoli defenders through half length of the field and shot the ball into the post. The second goal came when the Belgian made his shot just before half time but it was Napoli keeper Alex Meret’s shocking howler that directed the ball into the net when watched it go through his hands before bouncing into the net.

Arkadiusz Milik scored the only goal for Napoli six minutes later before Lautaro Martinez made it 3-1 for Inter in the 62nd.

This is Inter’s eighth unbeaten run in eleven games and the Italian giants have returned to share the top spot in Serie A with Juventus who thrashed Cagliari 4-0 earlier today.

Napoli, who were one of the top contenders at the beginning of the season, are 8th in Serie A with 11 points off Champions League spot.
