Marcus Rashford scored twice to mark his 200th appearance as Manchester United thrashed Norwich City 4-0 in premier league on Saturday.
Rashford, who became the third youngest player at 22 to appear 200 times for the Red Devils, scored the first goal in the 27th minute from Juan Mata’s deep cross.
The England international netted the second goal through a penalty after Brandon Williams was brought down in the 18 box by keeper Tim Krul.
Anthony Martial, who is closely following Rashford to mark the 200th appearance, scored the third goal with a header from Mata’s cross.
Then Mason Greenwood entered as a substitute and scored the fourth goal after Williams missed scoring.
Norwich missed their best chance to score after David De Gea saved Todd Cantwell’s shot at half time.
United fans were also spotted protesting despite their team’s victory. There were chants of “we want Glazers out” and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward who deals with transfer negotiations and also present at the match, was not left out of the protesting fans’ frustrations.
Manchester United were clearly the better team as they dominated throughout the game.
The Red Devils reclaim their fifth place in premier league with five points behind Chelsea while the Canaries are still at the bottom of the league with just 14 points.
