Sheffield United’s John Fleck hit a late equaliser against Arsenal to continue the Blades outstanding first season back in the Premier League.

Although the Blades were more organized and dominant on the field, Gunners’ Gabriel Martinelli’s half time goal seemed to diminish their spirit.

18-year-old Martinelli had volleyed from Nicolas Pepe’s cross and converted the opener for the hosts.

But then, Arsenal went back to what is apparently becoming a plague to the Gunners – struggling to keep up after scoring the lead.

The Gunners dropped deeper into the game and struggled to keep up with the Blades. Pepe thought he would been given a penalty after the break which didn’t happen.

Then Sheffield’s efforts were reward at the 83rd minute after Fleck hit a deflected shot into the far corner of Arsenal’s post.

Sheffield have replaced Tottenham in the seventh position while Arsenal remain tenth in the premier league.
