Asisat Oshoala’s Barcelona will face Wolfsburg to secure a spot in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The semi-final will take place on Tuesday evening.

Barça eliminated Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid , 1-0 in the quarter-finals with Oshoala providing the assist for Kheira Hamraoui’s winning goal in the 10th minute of the game.

Wolfsburg dramatically knocked out FC Glasgow City with a 9-1 win and four goals from dangerous player Pernille Harder.

Both Spanish and German champions will now battle for the final spot against current champions, Olympique Lyonnais who edged out Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

Lyon will face French rivals PSG in the semi final.

Lyon had beaten Barcelona 4-1 in the Catalans’ first UWCL finals appearance in 2019.

The French champions have also knocked Wolfsburg consecutively since 2016, twice in quarter-finals and twice in the final.

But Barcelona and Wolfsburg who are current champions of their domestic lead are gunning for the chance to pay back the French champions in their own coins.
