Aston Villa are reportedly targeting Tammy Abraham’s transfer for another spell at the club.

But Abraham has turned down the request as he is determined to fight for his place at Chelsea.

The 22-year-old was on loan to Villa two years ago, helping them to Premier League promotion with 26 goals.

Now Abraham’s place at Chelsea is being threatened with the signing of a high profile forward Timo Werner and Villa are hoping to use the opportunity to persuade the Anglo-Nigerian for a transfer return.

Abraham enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge, having scored 16 goals including the opener at home to Villa, and seven in three matches.
