Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has rejected offers from two clubs in order to commit his future to the Gunners.

The Gabon international has been in top form, having scored Arsenal’s goal in their Community Shield success against Liverpool, making it his fifth Wembley goal in little over a month, and his 10th in his last 10 matches.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Aubameyang turned down offers from two clubs as he is getting close to extending his contract with Arsenal.

Aubameyang was previously linked with a loan move to Barcelona after Arsenal’s consistent poor run of form in the 2019/2020 Premier League season in which the Gunners finished eight, ten points off the top four place.
