Bayern Munich have revived their interest in Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi was linked to several top clubs during the January transfer window and last summer, including the German Bundesliga giants who made £35m offer .
But the England international signed a five-year deal at Chelsea last September and made 33 appearances for the Premier League side during Frank Lampard’s first season in charge.
However, with Lampard’s new signings in the midfield – Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for £33.3m and Germany international Kai Havertz for £75.8m – competition have increased for the first choice in the starting line up.
Already Hudson-Odoi has been somewhat affected as he came off bench to replace new summer signing Havertz in the 80th minute of Chelsea’s 3-1 Premier League victory at Brighton on Monday.
Apart from Bayern, RB Leipzig and Juventus are also believed to want to sign Hudson-Odoi this summer, ahead of deadline day on October 5.
The 19-year-old has scored eight goals for Chelsea since he made his senior debut for the club in January 2018.
