French champions Paris Saint-Germain has confirmed interest to sign Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that FrujuSports had reported Juventus’ bid to sell Ronaldo in order to save finances which had been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Portugal international has been playing for the Italian giants since 2018 after he left Real Madrid where he won four Champions League titles.
However despite winning Serie A title twice, the 35-year-old is yet to win the Champions League title for Juve which is one of the reasons he was signed.
Paris-Saint-Germain director confirmed the club’s interest in signing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner according to the report on UK Sun.
“Today in football we do not know what will happen. Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.
“Who can buy him? It’s a closed circle. PSG enters this circle. Usually it is about opportunities, situations.
“The transfer window, we have to prepare for it and that’s what we do. We have our priorities, our lists, but something unforeseen can happen.”
Ronaldo’s potential arrival to PSG will be an additional striking boost to the squad that already has the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
