Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature.

Recall that FrujuSports had previously reported that Ronaldo’s future at Juventus was increasingly uncertain as the Serie A side are making plans to offload him due to a looming financial crisis in the club.

The 35-year-old who is Juve’s highest earning player, has also been linked to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, a return to Manchester United is potentially possible as the English side have joined the top contenders for his services.

According to Mail Online citing sources in Portugal, the Red Devils have established contact with Mendes over the transfer of the five-time Ballon d’Or.

Ronaldo’s current deal with Juve is scheduled to run until 2023 having joined them in 2017 on a five year deal.

But the Old Lady is hoping to sell him before his contract expires in order to boost their finances which has been ravaged by the coronavirus pandemic.
