Samuel Chukwueze is confident that the Super Eagles will win against Sierra Leone in Tuesday’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown.

The Super Eagles and their officials flew out to Freetown on a chartered flight for the game on Monday morning.

The three-time African champions were held to a 4-4 draw by the Leone Stars in their matchday three encounter last Friday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Chukwueze, who scored Nigeria’s third goal in the game is upbeat the Super Eagles will come back home with maximum points from Freetown.

“We have put the disappointment of last week’s behind us and everyone is looking forward to Tuesday’s game,”Chukwueze stated after the team’s training session on Sunday.

“What is important now is for us to beat them right there in Freetown and we are ready for the task ahead.”
