Super Eagles star Ola Aina has been named winner of Budweiser’s Premier League goal of the month for November.

Aina scored a stunning goal against West Bromwich Albion after linking up with Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Aleksandar Mitrovic to emerge the winner of the prestigious prize.

The Nigerian star’s goal was chosen by a panel of experts combined with a public vote, beating seven other contenders.

The 24-year-old is now the third Fulham player to have been awarded the top award after Jean Michael Seri and Andre Schurrle which they won in 2018/19. Aina told Premier League website:

“It was a good strike. It came on to my left and I just felt comfortable to strike it as hard as I could. It was good for the team. It lifted our spirits and we’ll try to build on that.”

This feat is impressive for Fulham who have just returned to the Premier League. Only Chelsea and Tottenham have had more winners since the award started in 2016/17.
