Promising Northampton Town striker of Nigerian descent Caleb Chukwuemeka has drawn the attention of higher English clubs Southampton, AFC Bournemouth and Norwich City.

The 18-year-old has already broken into Northampton Town’s starting lineup, making 17 appearances in all competitions with two goals to his name.

He was rewarded with a promotion to the first team of the Cobblers after directly participating in 30 goals (16 goals, 14 assists) for the U18s over the course of the 2019-2020 campaign.

According to Daily Mail, Southampton are interested in signing

Chukwuemeka but face competition from Championship promotion hopefuls Norwich City and Bournemouth.

Belgian First Division A champions Club Brugge are reportedly also seeking his signature.

Chukwuemeka should be available for a small fee because he has not yet signed a professional contract with Northampton.
